Hailing from Dallas Texas, David Samartin is a world-class saxophonist and actor. David made his recording debut shortly after moving to Los Angeles as the featured tenor saxophonist on the Motown tribute album to Marvin Gaye. David was one of Los Angeles most highly sought after sidemen - becoming a regular with both Jeff Goldblum’s jazz orchestra and Peter Weller’s band.
Today David resides in the UK with his family, exploring the jazz clubs of London and Brighton.
David moved confidently into acting, taking classes with the renowned Hollywood acting coach Anthony Meindl.
He has since appeared in 'Harry’s Law' alongside Kathy Bates, as a struggling dad in 'The Boy Who Could Fly', and heading up a strike team in 'Spirit 7'. David plays the charismatic CEO 'Foster' in Monsters of Man, which has been well received in the indie film world and was the number 1 movie on the iTunes Sci-Fi chart. David can soon be seen in Altitude Films hotly anticipated No Way Up which is expected to be released in 2024.
David is also recognised for his work in numerous commercials including BMW, Home Depot and Fisher Investments.
